This was the first painting in my collection titled “God Signs” — a series of paintings inspired by neon bar signs. These paintings are meant to remind the audience that Jesus is everywhere. In today’s society, we glorify drunkenness, so I decided to use these bar signs and switch the narrative to show that true peace, comfort, and joy come from the Lord — not from the bottom of a bottle. 

“Jesus is King” is meant to portray that Jesus sees you, loves you, and meets you right where you’re at. You can find Him on the streets, in the grocery store, in the club, or at your local dive bar. He doesn't discriminate. Open your eyes. Ask Him to reveal Himself to you and then pay close attention to when and where He shows up. I can tell you right now, it’s everywhere.
